1. Application and use environment
Outdoor solid rod post insulators are used in outdoor power stations, substation distribution devices and electrical equipment with power frequency AC voltage of 10-500KV for insulation and support of live parts.
The applicable environment of insulators is -40~+40, and some products can be used in areas with an altitude of 4000m. The products are divided into two categories: ordinary type and pollution-resistant type. Pollution-resistant type can be used in medium, heavy and extremely heavy pollution areas.
2. Structural and process characteristics
The porcelain parts of the modified series of insulators are solid structures, and the glue-mounted parts adopt the column sanding structure. The porcelain formula of our factory is advanced and the performance is excellent. After actual operation, the reliability is very high. The sand used for sanding is a special granulated sand that has been strictly controlled by the process. It has excellent bonding performance with the porcelain body and a reasonable expansion coefficient, which can effectively improve the mechanical strength of the product. The flange structure of the product is reasonable, and the stress distribution is uniform when subjected to force. Its material is ductile iron with high mechanical strength and hot-dip galvanized on the surface. It has excellent corrosion resistance. The cement used for glueing is high-grade cement, and with reasonable maintenance technology, the strength of the porcelain is fully utilized. Products of any voltage level are single-column type, with the advantages of simple structure, long service life and less maintenance workload. In order to ensure the reliability of the insulator, our factory conducts one-by-one striking, ultrasonic flaw detection and four-way bending load tolerance tests on the products.
