Product Introduction

Automatic Strand Termination is used primarily by telephone and electric companies to terminate strands or rods at the top of a pole and at the anchor eye. For overhead strand, guy wire and static wire. Used to terminate overhead support strands and at the top and bottom ends of down guys. Automatic Strand Termination for all grades is for 7-wire strands and solid wires designated by grade, coating, steel type and within the specified diameter range, but not for 3-wire strands or Alumnoweld. Recommended for use on galvanized, aluminized and betaluminum surfaces.

These automatic clamps are made of:

- conical body,

- a pair of jaws,

- collar,

- pledge

Note: Can be used with any tensile strength for galvanized guy wires.

Application

· For dead-end applications with overhead or down-going guy lines

· "Universal Class" is recommended for use with aluminum, aluminized, EHS and galvanized steel.

· "All grades" are recommended for use with conventional grades, Siemens-Martin grades, high-strength general purpose grades, galvanized and aluminized steel strands.
