ACADSS clamps are designed for ADSS dead-end aerial cables in access networks with spans not exceeding 90 m. All parts are clamped together to prevent loss during installation. Different capacities are available to adapt to the cable diameter.
They consist of a conical body and wedges that hold the cables under tension while maintaining the properties of the fiber.
Depending on the cable structure, two models are available:
1- Compact series with 165mm wedges for light ADSS cables up to 14mm in diameter.
2- Standard series with 230mm long wedges for ADSS cables with high fiber count up to 19mm diameter.

Functions:
● ADSS cable stubs with diameters from 6 to 19 mm.
● Minimum breaking load 500/600 daN.
● Installation on any brackets, crossbars or eyebolts with a minimum eye diameter of 15 mm.
● 4kV earpiece standard – 11kV tip available.
● All plastic parts are UV resistant.
Advantages:
● Lightweight and compact products
● Simple, fast and safe deadlock termination.
● Installation takes seconds – no tools required.
● Flexible bracket prevents cables from rolling away in windy weather.
● 4 kV isolation ensures
These clamps are used as dead ends for cables on end supports to terminate the cable route (using one clamp).
Single dead end using (1) ACADSS clamp, (2) bracket
Two clamps can be installed as a double dead end in the following cases:
● When connecting pillars
● On intermediate corner supports, when the cable route deviates by more than 20°.
● On intermediate supports, when two spans have different lengths.
● On intermediate supports on hilly terrain.
Double dead end for tangent support on corner route using (1) ACADSS clamps, (2) bracket
Attach the clamp to the rack bracket using the flexible bracket.
Place the clamp body on the cable with the wedges in the rear position.
Press the wedges with your hand to begin gripping the cable.
Check that the cable is positioned correctly between the wedges.
When the cable reaches its installation load at the end support, the wedges move further into the clamp body. When installing a double dead end, leave some extra cable length between the two clamps.
